These are portraits of women who, like me, have been diagnosed with autism.
With this project I want to show that autism is often a hidden disability.
High-functioning women with autism (autism without intellectual disability) frequently adapt so well
that their autism goes unrecognized or is only identified later in life.
This often leads to problems such as depression.
